Position Title: Packaging Operator
Wage: $21.84 per hour Shift: Day Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm (Mon-Wed or Thurs-Sat) Do you find yourself looking for a change in your career, an increase in wages, a more consistent work/life balance? They are currently looking to hire in different roles such as dryer operators, warehouse, maintenance tech, and utility positions! Packaging Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Package products to the correct weight guidelines. - Visual inspect the packages to check for foreign objects in the bag. - Ensure all packages are properly sealed before palletizing. - Check pallets for broken boards or defects before palletizing - Maintain paperwork and records on all production output. - Sample pallets or totes as instructed by QA. - Moving products around the warehouse using forklift (after training by the company) - Maintain clean work areas and equipment following proper clean up procedures. - Adhere to proper procedures including GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety procedures. Packaging Operator Requirements: - Standing in one spot for 10-12-hour days. - Repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting. - Repetitive lifting of 20-40# and on occasion 70#. - Repetitive motions with shoulders and wrists - gripping, reaching, squeezing. - Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history.
