Perform system administration and analytical duties for the company's EPBCS planning system and profitability tool. Perform user maintenance, oversee daily and monthly data maintenance tasks, and field user requests and issues. Drive continued improvement of the EPBCS system to ensure it remains fit for purpose. Responsibilities (Leadership)
- Work with key stakeholders to develop technical solutions to facilitate greater use of the EPBCS tool and enhance the finance organization's ability to deliver analytics to leadership.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, proactively look for areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Effectively and proactively communicate system updates and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce action plans, facilitate follow-ups and deliver reports.
Responsibilities (System Maintenance)
- Conducts complex system maintenance such as adding/updating dimension members, creating/maintaining web forms, performing data loads, and maintaining inter-company relationships. Performs and validates system testing required for new releases.
- Maintains and creates interfaces with source systems. Writes basic logic or code within source systems. Works closely with business units to ensure timely submission of data, integrity of data, and to provide training and support for system users as needed.
- Makes significant contributions in the preparation and analysis of the annual financial budget and quarterly forecast and month-end closing within the financial systems (i.e. analysis of impact of currency to our numbers, high-level review of variances, and identifying items needing additional review or items that are missing).
- Creates and reviews all reports for completion, accuracy, and appropriate consistency and clarity prior to submission to management.
- Develop system documentation and provide and/or facilitate user training.
- Works with business partners to identify opportunities for system enhancements or process improvements and to resolve system issues.

- Update, implement and maintain procedures; including training manuals for users.
- Perform quarterly user access reviews.
- Responsible for Oracle Relationship Management; including working on issues, resolutions, and service tickets.
- Oversee automated processes and maintain/update automations as needed.
- Drive the evolution of the company's data model and maintain system data dimension structures and reporting hierarchies.
- Create, Open and Close forecast and reporting years and periods as required by business groups.
- Prepare and maintain system for yearly budget process.
- Document, understand, and prioritize user requested system enhancements.
- Perform application maintenance.
- Execute metadata updates and manage sub cube data flow within EPBCS.
What Are We Looking For in This Role? Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or IT or equivalent work experience
- Attention to detail, and methodical approach to updating system elements within a production environment
- Minimum 2 years of exposure to EssBase/Hyperion/EPBCS
- Knowledge of fundamental Accounting/Finance concepts: including monthly close activities, forecasting, budgeting cycles and corporate reporting requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global workforce
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, and ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrable problem solving and strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Any experience with Delivered EPBCS Plan Types (Workforce, Projects, Capex, Strategic Modeling) is highly desirable for this role
- Experience EssBase cube types (ASO vs. BSO) and the leading practicing on when to leverage one over the other
- EssBase Calc Scripting and MDX language proficiency
- Experience with FDMEE/Data Management/ODI
- Understanding of other Oracle Hyperion/EPBCS components such as Web Forms, Data Maps, Security Model, Tasks Lists, Dashboards
- Proficiency in Oracle financial applications (ERP Cloud, FCCS, etc)
- Prior consulting/implementation experience
- Credit Card Processing or Bankcard Industry experience
