Head of Marketing, U.S. Companion Animal

Job Summary and Purpose:

Ceva North America is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Companion Animal Marketing to lead our marketing efforts across Companion Animal, Swine, and Poultry business units in the United States. This senior leadership role is critical in shaping our brand, driving market growth, and ensuring alignment with global strategies.

As the Head of Marketing, you will be directly responsible for the Companion Animal marketing team. Additionally, you will be a business partner to the VP of Production and support Swine and Poultry marketing colleagues to drive efficiency and impact.

You'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement, strengthen our market position, and drive business success.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

  • Develop & Execute Marketing Strategy - Partner with Ceva's global franchise teams to design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
  • Lead & Inspire - Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Impactful Campaigns - Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, events, and traditional media.
  • Market Intelligence & Customer Insights - Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Create Compelling Content - Guide the development of engaging marketing materials, such as websites, brochures, presentations, and advertisements, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Measure & Optimize Performance - Track key marketing performance metrics (leads, conversions, ROI, customer acquisition costs) to refine strategies and maximize impact.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends - Monitor emerging marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to keep Ceva at the forefront of animal health marketing.
  • Budget & Vendor Management - Oversee marketing budgets and external partnerships to ensure efficient resource allocation and strong ROI.
  • Brand Representation - Serve as a key ambassador for Ceva, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and associations to enhance visibility and credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of proven experience in animal health marketing, covering both companion and production animals.
  • Strong expertise in marketing strategy, campaign execution, and team leadership.
  • Deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative and innovative approach to marketing challenges.
  • Highly adaptable, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in brand representation.

Travel Required:

  • This role requires up to 30% travel, with a high concentration of customer meetings and industry conferences in Q1.
  • Monthly travel to Ceva's locations in NC, KC, plus 1-2 trips per year to Ceva's global headquarters in Libourne, France.
