These advancements are driving changes in the standards and requirements for oncology care. Compass Oncology is seeking a Director of Pharmacy and Admixture Services to lead the development and implementation of policies and strategic goals for pharmacy services across both retail and clinic locations, in collaboration with practice leadership. This role will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, establish and track performance metrics, and create policies, procedures, and standing orders for the department. Additionally, the Pharmacy Services Director will oversee pharmaceutical contract negotiations and set standards for these agreements. Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday Location: East Cancer Clinic (NE Portland, OR) Salary Range: $149,114.27- $253,468.74 USD salaried *Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise as well as internal employee equity considerations.
Scope: The Director of Pharmacy and Admixture Services is responsible for managing the operational, financial, clinical, and fiduciary performance of pharmacy and admixture services within the assigned geographic area. This role leads the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy and admixture service programs. The Senior Director ensures all operations and services comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as accrediting standards. Additionally, this position supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. The Senior Director provides leadership, direction, and mentorship to pharmacy managers, clinical pharmacists, and admixture technicians. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
