Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $68,500 - Midpoint: $89,100 (Salaried E11) Department/Organization: 214281 - Metallurgical and Materials Eng Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm Job Summary: The Engineering Researcher II oversees engineering research projects and assumes responsibility for the day-to-day activity supporting project. Makes significant contributions to the planning and design of research and creative projects. Assists in short- and long-term planning and project goals. May assist with research and creative proposals and dissemination of project findings. Additional Department Summary: Performs and manages high level research with faculty in the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Design Integration (CAMMDI). Research functions include but are not limited to research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling, simulation, visualization, and/or dissemination efforts. Collaborates with faculty, researchers, staff, and students from varied academic and research units across the University and external organizations. Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Due to requirements of the funding source, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident. Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to safely operate research instrumentation and complex machinery, and ability to train and supervise others using machinery.
