Genesis10 is seeking a UI/UX Resource for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. 100% Remote.

Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $60-65


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with stakeholders to understand Business Requirements (verbal and/or written) and effectively translate and apply them to create persuasive User Experience Design concepts for the applications/ products
  • Work with all kinds of developers, BA's, and challenging stakeholders to design and build new features
  • Investigating user needs and requirements, and identifying areas where constructive changes can have maximum impact
  • User interaction design for complex UI intensive applications: analysis of workflow, creation of Lo/Hi-Fi mockups and prototypes, design consultations
  • Closely work with developers to ensure that there is no error while translating the wireframes & visual design to code
  • Conduct design workshops and presentations to transfer UX Know how to those interested
  • Innovate/prototype new ideas and expert in applying design thinking

Required Qualifications:

  • A portfolio of past UI/UX/IA projects including task flows, site maps, wireframes, etc.
  • A degree/ post-graduation in design OR equivalent education from a reputed institute
  • Proven experience designing user interfaces for the web following user-centered design principles
  • Effective with popular design and collaboration tools including: Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Axure RP
  • Demonstrated understanding of mature user-centered design thinking and research practices
  • Be able to conduct primary research via user interviews, focus groups and contextual analysis to generate actionable insights for user experience designs. And assist with designing usability tests, draft test scripts and perform test moderation.
  • Proven skills to create information architecture, storyboards, journey maps, navigation maps, wireframes and Lo/Hi-Fi prototypes along with design specifications are a must.
  • Ability to drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision and to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
  • A strong sense of composition, typography and visual balance
  • Leverage and contribute to existing design systems, pattern libraries, and UI guidelines
  • HTML5 and CSS3 skills, with cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility; familiarity with basic scripting, functional prototyping; translate visual design from mockups to front end templates will be awesome to have, though not a must
  • A good communicator with excellent negotiating and presentation skills



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Responsive design experience is a must, with examples that increased user satisfaction and delivered business value to the client along with a wow experience for the customers
  • Excellent skills with quick design reviews and recommendations, and able to quickly make concept sketches during stakeholder meetings
