Manager, Global Marketing Partnerships

Our global client is the leading career site used around the globe to help professionals and companies with their recruiting and career seeking efforts. As they continue to expand their reach, they are looking to continue to establish partnerships around the globe to help companies and people come together. To assist with these endeavors they have created a department specifically focused on creating global marketing partnerships.

Day to Day

Working as an integrated member of the Global Marketing team, your role is to use your solid analytical insights, organizational, negotiation and communication skills, to help our client incubate, pipeline, launch and manage impactful partnerships that will further strengthen their business. Initial focus, as one fully embraces their business model and service offerings, will be mostly towards operational optimization tasks and partner management. Over time it is expected this role will increasingly contribute to new partnership development.

Responsibilities




  • Strategic planning
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and the marketing priorities and OKRs (objectives and key results)
  • Support the defining of our client's partnership plans and strategy by providing input based on self-initiated data analysis
  • Collaborate on the incubation of new partnerships and partnership programs



Operational management



  • Be the go-to person for the Partnership team's reports, instrumentation, documentation and operational processes
  • Develop and manage robust and easy to use reports and dashboards that support the overall Partnership team business
  • Produce as needed regular reports and forecasts as well as coordinate information sharing with other departments (e.g. finance on budget tracking)


Partnership management and development



  • Be responsible for the management of a significant portion of our existing partnerships.
  • Lead post-launch partner engagement, with the objective of optimizing the performance for referrals and partner OKRs.
  • Lead the partnership management governance process (e.g. quarterly meetings, payment processes etc)
  • Build and manage partnership opportunity pipeline, and work simultaneously with a portfolio of companies.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements, by developing and maintaining solid relationships with key partners and alignment with company goals.


Collaboration



  • Build strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders in order to maximize contribution to the business in an effective and aligned manner
  • Collaborate tightly with the other team members to support each other and win as a team


Skills/Competencies:



  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, build business models

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful partnership management
  • Proven experience in a global role within a large multinational company
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to use work tools such as pivot tables, Tableau, Google sheets etc.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Consultancy background is a plus
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities. MIN 7 years of experience in partnerships or similar roles (e.g. business development, consultancy)
