Job Overview

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sourcing Project Coordinator to join our Center of Excellence team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on leading enterprise RFQ initiatives, supporting commodity managers, and acting as a project management resource for the COE team and initiatives.

A Day In The Life

  • Coordinate enterprise RFQ (Request for Quotation) initiatives under the direction of the Senior Manager, COE.
  • Support Commodity Managers with central RFQs to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Create RFQ templates with the support of Commodity Managers.
  • Assist with supplier capability studies to identify potential vendors and optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Act as a project management resource for the COE team and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sourcing strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in sourcing practices.


What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or a related role.
  • Prior purchasing or sourcing experience is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, such as PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Power BI
  • Experience and proficiency in SAP
