Summary: The Supply Chain Service Center Representative acts as a liaison to Supply Chain customers, ensuring an accurate and efficient supply chain experience for all UNC Health Supply Chain customers. This role focuses on enhancing UNC Health Supply Chain efficiencies by collaborating with customers across various departments to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, increase supply chain accuracy and efficiency, and provide ongoing support while maintaining proper finance and supply chain policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and customer service skills, broad supply chain knowledge, and demonstrated proficiency in navigating multiple technology interfaces and software.

Responsibilities:
*Responds to customer inquiries promptly and projects a positive and professional image at all times.
*Assists customers in a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable manner.
*Builds trust and solid working relationships with customers and key business partners.
*Reviews customer queries, researches issues to determine root cause(s), tracks issues to resolution using current department processes, and follows up with the customer on the resolution.
*Navigates, coordinates, edits, and manages multiple technology software and interfaces to monitor supply chain services, processes, and efficiencies.
*Extracts data from multiple systems and develops information analysis.
*Trains and enables teammates on various features, supply chain processes, software, and navigations across the technology used in Supply Chain.
* Demonstrates cross-functional understanding between supply chain, finance, and ISD standards and practices to meet the needs of clinical, finance, and supply chain customers.
* May be called upon to substitute into positions on short-term assignments (buyer, invoice resolution, contract management, data management) as needed.
* Researches and advises on existing and upcoming technology software capabilities.
* Supports Supply Chain enhancements through requirements gathering, documentation, and communication.
* Provides recommendations and proposes technical/non-technical solutions aligned with Supply Chain requirements, strategy, mission, and goals.
* Proactively seeks opportunities to provide valuable insight and identify continuous improvement possibilities.
* Creates and maintains files in systems and files paper/electronic documents as needed.
* Works with vendors in error resolution and mitigation across purchase orders (PO), shipping, product failures, and product returns.

Education Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* If HSD, five (5) years of Customer Service experience in a Supply Chain environment.
* If Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school - three (3) years of Customer Service experience in a Supply Chain environment.
* If Bachelor's Degree - one (1) year of Customer Service experience in a Supply Chain environment.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* *Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
*Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
*Ability to work independently and as a team.
*Ability to work cross-functionally.
*Working knowledge of technology software such as Infor (or other Order Management Software), Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow (or other workflow ticketing systems), and Strata (or other budgeting software).
