Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

To provide support to the Amcor Healthcare Packaging Oshkosh Clean Room by inspecting product, identifying defects, and conducting product testing according to Customer Specifications.

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

2-2-3 Straight Day shift 6a-6p

COMPENSATION

$20.51/hour and 1.5x pay on Sundays

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Report all injuries, near misses or property damage to the Shift Supervisor prior to end of the day of the incident
  • Perform testing to include burst, tensile, creep, dimensional and all tests listed on the Finishing Specification
  • Roam to machines to measure and verify product is within specification
  • Enter testing under the correct Production order number into the AIMS Testing Dashboards
  • Perform full startup testing and fill out QI audit in Sharepoint for each audit
  • Verify product is defect-free and meets Customers' specifications. Immediately notifies Co-workers, Operator, Leads, and Supervisors /Management of Quality concerns/issues following escalation process
  • Follow IPPH procedures
  • Follow all plant and department specific safety and security rules, procedures, and programs and attend monthly training. Promotes a safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns and risks
  • Verify all labels and documents are completed accurately and according to customer specification and following GDPs
  • Mentor and Train new employees according to procedures as outlined in the Training Manuals and Position Checklists
  • Maintains 5s procedures and ensures work environment is clean and clutter-free
  • Actively looks for opportunities to support QA and co-workers while machines are down
  • Cross train in the Quality lab

  • Willing and able to work 12 hour, rotating shifts
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications
  • Required to have good visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices
  • Mid-level computer skills
  • Mid-level communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to support all areas as requested
