This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance. Our company is looking to hire a SAN Administrator to provide technical leadership and guidance for storage tasks at the customer site. The SAN Administrator will support the client's Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Services (ECIS) Team. The ECIS team is comprised of multiple subsections/technology areas that support operations and provide management of the Government's Enterprise Network virtual and storage infrastructure services including maintaining the backup and recovery services. The candidate shall provide senior-level SAN support. This support includes configuration; implementation and management of NetApp SnapCenter and volume snapshots; management software (ONTAP System Manager); recovery procedures; hardware installation; security and access of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNS); and storage capacity and performance. The candidate shall configure all aspects of the SAN hardware and software. The SAN infrastructure supports the virtual and physical server infrastructure, and end-user and Government Command file shares. The configuration support requires expert knowledge of storage clusters; software and hardware; Windows operating systems; VMware; and networking technology. The environment also utilizes the Internet Small Computer Systems Interface (iSCSI) protocol. The environment is NetApp and VMware-based.
