The OR Clinical Assistant will be responsible for:
  • Assisting the operating room team with equipment, supplies, and instruments.
  • Working with RN and Surgical Scrub techs to set up and break down procedures in the OR.
  • Assisting with positioning and positioning equipment in the OR as needed.
  • Transporting lab and pathology specimens to the lab daily.
  • Gathering kits, equipment, disposable supplies and packs for each OR procedure.
  • Assisting the team and securing other needed supplies for procedures as needed.020
  • Assisting with moving and transporting patients.
  • Working 8 and 10 hour day shifts.

To qualify, you must have:

  • 1 year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to: exchange information on factual matters, interpret written instructions for coordinating case cart needs and supplies.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work on a team.
