Sign On Bonus: $10,000.00

Telecare's Director of Nursing is similar to Registered Nurse (RN) 4 in the community.

Pierce County E&T is a secure 16-bed inpatient facility for adults, ages 18+ diagnosed with a serious mental illness. Patients are experiencing acute mental health crisis and pose an actual or imminent risk of harm to self or others. The average stay is 7 to 22 days.

Shifts: Full Time Salary, 40 hours per week | Approx Monday - Friday | Approx. 8:00am - 5:00pm

Expected starting wage range is $136,906.57 - $169,119.80. Top of the range is $201,333.04. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Required Qualifications



  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have four (4) years of experience with two (2) in psychiatric nursing and two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience and one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of operation
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Administrator On Call (AOC) coverage rotation with other facility leadership

    What You Will Do

    As the Director of Nursing at Telecare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care we provide by:




    • Leading Clinical Services and Standards of Care: Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of nursing protocols, clinical services, and care standards that align with Telecare's mission.



    • Collaboration with Community Partners: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local care systems, agencies, and community partners to ensure seamless services and support for our clients.



    • Ensuring Quality and Compliance: Lead audits of clinical documentation and oversee the clinical staff's adherence to state, county, and Telecare's regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care.
