As a Senior Brand Manager, OTC - US VISION CARE FORT WORTH, TX, you will lead the launch of an innovative high profile new OTC product at Alcon. You will drive the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and execution to ensure sales and market share targets are met. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, global marketing, professional affairs, operations, strategic insights, and external agencies to develop and implement an impactful launch plan that builds brand awareness, drives consumer engagement, and maximizes market penetration.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for the new product launch, including positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across marketing, sales, global, and operations.
  • Ensure key milestones and launch timelines are met by coordinating with internal teams and external partners to achieve an A+ launch
  • Utilize market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and optimize launch strategies.
  • Lead media, digital, and retail marketing program development and execution to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  • Track key performance metrics, analyze results, and optimize strategies to drive growth and ROI. Includes business review updates, aligning with trade on monthly sales forecasts and share outlook.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to develop creative assets and marketing materials.
  • Lead budget planning and allocation for launch activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.
  • Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience

  • Proven success in launching and scaling new products in a competitive market
  • Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Marketing thought leader with proven track record of delivering results
  • Consumer advertising and media experience
  • A highly collaborative, effective partner who can influence through smart, thoughtful communication and execution
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing strategy and keen eye for data trends and the ability to investigate and articulate factors that may account for these trends
  • Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Know how to prioritize, challenge assumptions and be adaptive to change
