We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help build innovative AI-powered software solutions.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled software engineer with strong experience in Generative AI, data engineering, and full-stack application development. You'll work individually and collaboratively to design, develop, and optimize software applications and databases that support scalable, high-performance systems.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze user needs, assess system impact, and design automated solutions that meet business requirements, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop, test, and implement high-quality applications and database solutions, ensuring alignment with development standards and reliable operation in production.
  • Serve as a lead technical contributor on projects-mentoring teammates, guiding architecture decisions, and sharing knowledge of AI/ML best practices.
  • Support quality assurance and operations teams by documenting changes, troubleshooting issues, and performing production support to ensure system stability.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and technical innovation by researching tools, enhancing development workflows, and sharing expertise with the broader team.
  • Stay current with industry trends in AI, ML, and cloud development while actively investing in professional development and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • Proven expertise in building Generative AI applications using LLMs and frameworks like Langchain or Langgraph.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with additional experience in FastAPI, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including GitLab CI and containerized deployments.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including prompt engineering, optimization, and relevant math/statistics.
  • Skilled in designing, developing, testing, and scaling reliable software systems and APIs.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies, version control best practices, and scalable code architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to debug and optimize AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of mentoring and working cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable-able to manage multiple priorities and stay current on emerging AI trends.

Total Rewards

The salary estimated for this position is $135,000-$165,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
