Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities - Lead the Test. Drive the Standard.

As a Senior Supervisor of Production Test Engineering at CAES by Honeywell Eatontown, you'll lead a high-impact team responsible for validating the performance of mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies. Your leadership will ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and readiness.

Team Leadership
  • Inspire and guide a team of test engineers and technicians to meet operational goals and grow professionally

  • Host regular team huddles to align priorities, resolve challenges, and foster collaboration

  • Set clear performance objectives and deliver meaningful annual reviews

  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Production Test Management
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of testing procedures to ensure product excellence

  • Ensure all tests follow strict protocols-adapting methods to boost efficiency and effectiveness

  • Review and approve test plans, procedures, and reports for compliance and clarity

  • Analyze test data to spot trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions

  • Lead execution of Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) requirements

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve testing-related challenges swiftly

Technical Oversight
  • Provide expert guidance on complex testing issues and system-level troubleshooting

  • Manage calibration, maintenance, and performance of all test equipment

  • Evaluate and recommend emerging testing technologies to enhance accuracy and throughput

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to keep your team on the cutting edge

Documentation & Reporting
  • Generate clear, comprehensive reports detailing test results and corrective actions

  • Maintain organized, audit-ready records of testing activities and equipment maintenance

  • Ensure documentation is current, accessible, and aligned with compliance standards

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with suppliers to source and maintain critical testing equipment and materials

  • Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project execution

  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and technical insights


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of RF Microwave testing and test equipment (i.e. Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise meters, Power meters, etc.)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in production test engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of managing and supervising production test engineering projects, demonstrating strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing equipment, methodologies, and best practices for production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in testing equipment and software, with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including AS9100 standards.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience with automated testing systems and data analysis tools, leveraging technology to enhance testing processes.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive efficiency and quality in production processes.

Salary Range: $120,115 - $148,377 (Eatontown NJ) annually. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
