We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Sourcing and Buying Supervisor to lead our international sourcing and domestic procurement operations for Nth Gear and its brands. This key role is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring a high in-stock rate, and driving efficient supply chain operations to support our fast-growing eCommerce business. Managing multi-million-dollar inventories, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing supplier relationships, streamlining purchasing processes, and contributing to the overall success of our brand portfolio. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to utilize keyboard with quick movements sometimes at rapid work speeds while multitasking. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision utilizing monitor and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to work within moderate noise conditions present in a business office setting. Language Skills: ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $100,000 and $115,000 annually. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
