Summary

The Procurement Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of contracts, working with the indirect buyers and procurement managers identifying requirements for contracts, and being accountable that the contracts/agreements are accurate and meet the requirements of our internal legal team, but without direct involvement in business negotiations. This role acts as a liaison between procurement and the internal legal team to ensure all contracts mee the necessary6 standards and requirements.

This individual will manage project-based programs for new and existing contracts, which may include amendments, renewals, SOWs and/or negotiated acquisitions and on board an estimated 50-60 new contracts per year as well as overseeing the centralized repository.

Responsible for managing some of the post-award contract activities, including registration activities, contractor insurance and verification, maintaining contract files and record retention, monitoring and close-out, and receipt of contract obligations, modifications, amendments, contract extensions, or audit-related activities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Contract lifecycle management: oversee the drafting, review, approval and execution of contracts related to indirect procurement, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, ensuring quality, managing priorities and follow up.
  • Work closely with buyers, procurement managers, the contract review team (risk, legal and information security), and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract execution.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and promote strategic relationships with business areas.
  • Provide training and support procurement teams on contract-related practices
  • Managing our contract management tool to streamline contract handling and tracking, maintaining the repository, tracking key contract milestones (as renewals and expirations), and ensure accurate reporting.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Materials Management, Business Administration, Public Administration Finance, Law, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management, procurement operations, or legal support within an indirect procurement environment.
  • Paralegal experience will be a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures and procurement policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent administrative skills, excellent written and communication skills, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excel or similar software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • The contract manager also need to maintain contractual records: digital- cloud-based software. Experience with working with Ironclad, our contract management tool is preferred.
  • Multinational experience is considered a plus.
