Advertising & Sponsorships Insights Manager

SUMMARY

The Advertising & Sponsorships (A&S) Insights Manager will have the opportunity to become an expert about franchise players and fan audiences. You will serve both internal and external clients so success will be dependent on collaboration and storytelling skills. A basic understanding of syndicated databases and/or consumer research methods will be necessary for this Insights Manager to cultivate audience insights from a variety of data sources. It's an exciting chance to become a subject matter expert in games, new media, and cross-platform insights, by sharing important knowledge across teams. You will support multiple team members and reports to the Ads & Sponsorship Insights & Innovation lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will create game, media and player insights to support the A&S sales cycles
  • You will respond to client inquiries about player and fan audiences
  • You will analyze audience demographic and psychographic data
  • You will be an expert and promoter in games, new media, and cross-platform insights
  • Curate data and trends into relevant insights
  • Keep the team informed of macro industry trends that affect the A&S business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in consumer research, marketing or insights role in-house or agency.
  • Comfortable with autonomy to build relationships with internal partners, and able to represent EA with external partners and clients.
  • Working knowledge of the syndicated data panels, and previous experience using cross-tab syndicated research tools.
  • Must demonstrate confidence in combining information from multiple sources to create concise insights "stories" and recommendations from research outputs.
  • Determine the questions being asked in addition to the methods to address them.
  • Expertise in assessing what data is relevant, and understand the business need behind the ask.
  • Creative when thinking through requests, answering questions and completing projects (i.e., comfortable in the 'grey space'). Suggest an unprecedented plan to address goals/questions.

This role is scoped for Orlando, Seattle, or Austin with a Hybrid work model including 2-3 days in office per week.
