Job Description Summary

The Game Day Creative Photo Freelancer is an hourly position that will assist the Creative staff with game day needs to create the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a member of the Creative team on athletic game days for various sports to carry out game-specific creative photography needs and responsibilities.

  • Ability to set up technology prior to the event needed to cover the game properly.

  • Assist in the capture of pregame and in-game moments with the team.

  • Manage cards and data archiving during the event.

  • Edit quick turn photo content needed for social media and in-venue elements during and immediately following the event.

  • Ensures all assigned tasks are carried out in compliance with department, University, ACC, and NCAA rules and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in photography, communications, social media or related field.

  • Experience in operating Sony camera equipment.

  • Experience in utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

  • Highly organized and ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Extraordinary focus on customer service.

  • Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned task.

  • Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing / walking for up to six hours.

  • Lifting and moving items up to 75 pounds.

  • Possess visual acuity to operate golf carts, equipment, manage crowds and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.

  • Responsible for own work.
