Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes run safely, meet quality standards, and efficiently. This role involves managing a team, optimizing production workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate production activities, adjust schedules, and prioritize work based on customer demands, inventory levels, and resource availability.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to improve skills, productivity, and team collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends,inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Drive automation and process innovation initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actions for production challenges.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain high product standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments (engineering, procurement, etc.) to streamline workflows and resolve bottlenecks.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards and compliance regulations.
  • Ability to drive production results
  • Manage plant production workflow
  • Ability to work well within a team and cross functionally



Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400 - $152,100plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
