Position Overview:

Assist the Corporate Controller and Senior Director of Finance and Accounting with the companies' accounting and financial reporting functions. Oversee audits, month-end closings, daily transactional processes, intercompany transactions, general ledger maintenance, sales commissions, and other analytical projects.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger Oversight and Maintenance:

Take ownership of assigned areas including month-end closing, reviewing and posting transactions and providing insight into trends, risks and anomalies. Develop and implement accounting processes, procedures and controls. Verify accuracy and completeness of accounting information.

Manage Annual Audits

Maintain understanding of and ensure compliance with corporate, legal and local accounting policies. Compile annual information in accordance with multiple accounting standards in coordination with local auditors. Manage and record intercompany transactions, including transfer-pricing assistance. Review and maintain necessary supporting schedules and reconciliations.

Supervise Accounting Operations:

Meet regularly with staff to mentor and assess performance and ensure that department work schedules provide proper staffing and resource allocation. Provide management, direction and guidance to accounting team.

Sales Commission and Analysis:

Review monthly and quarterly sales commissions from Sales Operations and provide summarized data to Human Resources for inclusion on relevant pay periods. Other analysis or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:



  • 8+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Willingness to travel domestically or globally as needed; less than 10%
