Description

Data Scientist II (Multiple Positions) - Starkey Laboratories, Inc. (Eden Prairie, MN). Responsible for applying mathematical and computational techniques to support research and development of algorithms for wearable devices and related accessories and enterprise operations. Duties include: research and develop innovative solutions for wearable devices and related accessories and improve enterprise operational efficiency; collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization; implement processes and systems to monitor data quality; write unit/integration tests, contribute to engineering wiki and documentation; perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues; and, work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, analysts, all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long-term data platform architecture. Reqs. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or closely related field plus 3.5 years' experience working with data science. Must have demonstrated proficiency in: Python; object-oriented programming; SQL; schema design and dimensional data modeling; applied mathematics and statistics; AI and machine learning; data science best practices; and, data visualization tools. 5 days/week in-office. $85,360.27/year.
