Structural Repair Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Job Description Summary:

Create detailed drawings for structural repairs. Review and facilitate engineering package release. Act as liaison to manufacturing and production efforts. Support installation, functional and operational tests, and ground and flight tests. Perform preliminary stress analysis in support of repairs solutions. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Mechanical and electrical drawings; create detail, assembly and installation of 2D and 3D drawings using CAD (CATIA V5, AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS); FEA Analysis of large assemblies using FEA software (SOLIDWORKS); additive manufacturing using 3D printers; solve mechanical & electrical issues on ships or aircraft; ensure structural integrity and safety of aircrafts by providing repair solutions for any damage, wear or defects in aircrafts structures; stress analysis on aircraft installations; and Incorporation of various components and customization into the overall structure of the aircraft according to customers requirements.

Salary offered for the position is: $87,589.00 - $92,589.00/year.

Primary Work Location:

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
