Additional Information:
Memorial Hospital is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join their Community Health team! In this role, you'll focus on meeting community health goals that are driven by the community health needs assessment. This will look like but isn't limited to: building strong relationships within the community, as well as fortifying a larger community health team within Memorial Hospital, writing grant proposals for funding, working across teams and being comfortable with all job categories across the hospital and at all levels, all while having a significant level of autonomy.

Ideally, this Senior Program Manager will have an education that is reflective of Community Health, along with a background that proves a strong understanding of prevention, experience in federal grants and potentially state contracts, external funding sources, building strong community relationships, and more.

The candidate hired for this position will be required to be local to the area.

Summary:
This position develops the vision, strategy, budget, operational plan and program design for at least one or more strategic programs. Additionally, the incumbent leads and manages team operations and manages relationships and communications as well as the staff responsible. This position is accountable for program goals and outcomes. The role mentors, oversees and directs other program resources and is accountable for cultivating a culture of engagement.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Licensure/certification may be preferred or required depending on program.
  3. Experience: 7+ years of program management.
  4. Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills
  5. Excellent adaptability
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent negotiation and business acumen
  8. Excellent budget development and administration skills
  9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  10. Demonstrated ability to model professional behavior by working as a valuable team member, respecting others, and maintaining open and honest communications.
