Our Story Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non-profit organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide range of services that include family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental, radiology and integrated behavioral health. We also offer supportive services such as case management, health education and benefits enrollment. Your day as a Behavior Health Consultant - Licensed Clinical Social Worker As a new Behavioral Health Consultant - Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Progressive Community Health Centers, Inc., you can expect a structured and rewarding schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Collaboration is key; you will engage regularly with a multidisciplinary team to discuss cases and share insights that enhance patient outcomes. Daily documentation and reporting will ensure compliance with health regulations and contribute to your ongoing professional development. You will also facilitate support groups and community outreach programs, empowering clients and their families through education and resources. Would you be a great Behavior Health Consultant - Licensed Clinical Social Worker? To excel as a Behavioral Health Consultant - Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Progressive Community Health Centers, Inc., you will need a solid foundation in social work principles and practice. Your required qualifications include a degree and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin. Success in this role hinges on strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in clinical assessment and intervention strategies is essential. Familiarity with integrated behavioral health models will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care. Experience within a medical setting or a Federally Qualified Health Center is preferred, as it demonstrates your capability to navigate the healthcare system effectively.
