Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The FileMaker Developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing FileMaker systems, supporting end-users with data corrections, troubleshooting, and performing bug fixes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily.




  • Participate in design, planning, and estimation discussions regarding software features and enhancements.
  • Customizes data processes to match workflow processes.
  • Apply software design following industry best practices.
  • Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development our FileMaker databases.
  • Generate software documentation as requested.
  • Perform software testing and diagnostics.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain and enforce health and safety standards for warehouse staff, including required training and incident reporting.


  • Oversee facility cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance to maintain a professional and safe environment.
  • Manage company fleet operations at the assigned location, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs.


Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a FileMaker Developer
  • Experience integrating FileMaker with APIs or other third-party services, preferred not critical
  • A full understanding of Relationship context
  • Software project management experience
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Fundamental knowledge of UX and UI design
  • Ability to work together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with a diverse team of management and end users.



Working Conditions:



  • Work is performed in a semi-quiet office setting. Position involves computer and phone work.
  • This can be a remote or office-based hybrid position. Flexibility to come to a Catalyst office on an occasional basis is required. Occasional travel to Catalyst offices is other states maybe be required.
  • Position involves long periods of sitting
