Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gates has an opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst, Global Analytics, reporting to the Pricing Director. The Senior Pricing Analyst position will work cross-functionally and cross-regionally and will be responsible for delivering strategic data-driven, actionable insights that increase sales and profits across our various channels.
- Leading strategically important pricing and margin improvement projects, collaborating across global and regional departments to determine optimal pricing strategy and drive profit improvement
- Analyzinglarge amounts of data, synthesizing, and communicatingactionable insights/recommendations to business leaders that drive positive impact to sales and profits
- Continually evaluatingcompetitor and marketplace dynamics to assess the impact on our business and develop related strategy recommendations
- Coordinatingannual price increase deployment process globally
- DevelopingKPI reports with clear and concise communication to executive leadership
- Collaborates across functions and regions to develop and implement improved reporting and data processes
- Develops knowledge of channel, customer segment and product category strategies and key business drivers as inputs into pricing strategy. Anticipates marketplace events and develops scenarios to address changing business dynamics.

Keys to Success
- Fundamental understanding of business concepts, pricing concepts, and financial metrics
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Adept in Business Intelligence, data blending, and visualization tools - Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, BI
- Familiarity with Oracle/SAP and a pricing system is a plus
- Analytical aptitude and intellectual curiosity
- Able to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information clearly and concisely
- Communicate effectively across the organization
- Strong organizational skills. Able to support and manage multiple projects, flexible to accommodate changing business needs
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
- Has knowledge of best practices and how their own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or other business-related studies;MBA preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in Pricing, Finance or Analytics
PAY & BENEFITS
- Full-Time: $85,000 - $95,000
- Relocation is not provided

- Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
