We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the development of scalable, automated solutions for managing infrastructure, internal tools, and deployment pipelines across Snowflake Educational Services. This role is critical in driving innovation, optimizing account deployment processes, and supporting internal teams through the development of applications that replace manual workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a full-stack background with experience in DevOps practices, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and application development. They will be comfortable working autonomously, driving research and development (R&D) initiatives, and delivering robust, scalable solutions for internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain self-service applications to streamline internal operations, including native apps for internal tooling and Streamlit dashboards for capacity planning and operational insights.

  • Design and automate deployment pipelines for training accounts across ILT, On-Demand, and Academia programs, using tools such as GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Lambda functions, and Snowflake.

  • Collaborate with Ops teams to optimize data extraction processes from systems and automate workflows to reduce manual intervention.

  • Modernize and replace bash scripts with scalable applications that call commands and integrate with GitLab pipelines to support self-service account management.

  • Lead the transition from manual account creation processes to automated solutions at scale.

  • Develop capacity planning tools and monitoring dashboards to ensure efficient resource management across the organization.

  • Support the development of DevOps pipelines, including CI/CD pipelines, to ensure smooth and automated deployments.

  • Collaborate on replacing legacy account management workflows with a robust, scalable system that integrates with internal tooling and Snowflake.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure

  • Experience with GitLab pipelines and automation frameworks

  • Proficiency in Snowflake and Data Engineering concepts

  • Hands-on experience with Python, Streamlit, and building internal tools for self-service applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to replace manual processes with automated, scalable solutions.

  • BONUS: Have obtained 1 or more SnowPro Certifications

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $189,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
