Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a DevOps Engineer for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collaborating with development teams to design, build, test, and deploy changes to new or existing software
  • Identifies interdependencies and productivity barriers between the development and operations functions
  • Automates manual processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Establishes, promotes, and continually improves DevOps processes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a DevOps or related role
  • Experience maintaining code repositories and pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services: AKS, Function Apps, Compute, Monitoring, Storage, Networking.
  • Strong understanding within Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC example: Terraform)
  • Familiar with SQL server environment
  • Mandatory experience producing industry-standard secure applications
  • Additional software engineering experience (beneficial): .NET Framework, C#, and Automated testing familiarity
  • The ability to work outside of normal business hours
