The Regional Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth for the Construction Repairs and Renovations division within the assigned region while maintaining a safe work environment for all regional employees. The Regional Manager will build and maintain a strong organization by monitoring and measuring performance in areas such as revenue, sales, safety, quality, profitability, efficiency, and customer service.

This position will cover the Morton Buildings Eastern Region for Repairs and Renovations. Candidates must be located within the assigned area (preferably PA, NY, or NJ) or willing to relocate within an agreed upon timeframe.

Essential Functions



  • Establishes and manages the annual budget for the designated area; driving revenue and earnings through the monitoring of project performance, customer satisfaction, and safety; providing tactical direction for sales and revenue efforts.
  • Manages Regional Service Supervisors and Field Service Specialists (Repair Sales) within the area; monitoring individual and regional performance to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, implementing disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with all Field Service Specialists (Repair Sales); providing updated sales and revenue forecasts, setting customer and scheduling priorities, and holding personnel accountable to forecast and goal attainment.
  • Oversees project performance, ensuring compliance with company practices and procedures; understanding customer service requirements on construction related issues; monitoring project closeout and expediting punch list items to ensure prompt final payments.
  • Provides hands-on expertise and direction to salesforce and crews, as needed; assisting in the sales process for complex projects; the scheduling of materials, equipment, and subcontractors; and offering expert support as it relates to contract, customer expectations, and scope of work details.
  • Supports talent management for assigned area by setting headcount expectations, assisting with headcount planning, and participating in the assessment, selection, onboarding, and development of department personnel.
  • Fosters a culture of safety by serving as a safety advocate for Morton Buildings, Inc., enforcing adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Required Education and Experience



  • 2-year degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience in construction, sales, or customer service or a combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of the post-frame sales and construction process, gained through previous experience highly desired
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
  • Prior P&L (profit & loss) experience is highly desired
  • OSHA 30-hour course
  • Thorough understanding and endorsement of corporate policies and procedures
  • Dedicated to creating an environment focused on safety, quality, continual process improvement, and profitability
  • Promotes teamwork and demonstrates leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction crews
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills
  • Must be able to travel
