Acara solutions is looking for a Contracts Administrator to work for our partner located in Mesa, AZ who specializes in Avionic manufacturing.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $45-50/hr DOE
Hours: 8am-5pm
Duration: Temporary

Here's what you'd do:

Subject matter expert on certain contract administration functions within a project life-cycle. Administers, supports negotiations and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts, including U.S. Government, commercial, state & municipal government agreements.

  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations to manage risk, meet compliance standards and to ensure meeting internal and external customer requirements.
  • Prepare, administer, create and negotiate purchase agreements, rough order of magnitude, professional service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, bailment agreements, distributor agreements, sales representative agreements, letters of authorizations, service center agreements, service estimates, terms and conditions, and other agreements including writing clauses, delivery obligations, schedules and related terms and conditions.
  • Manages all amendments to executed agreement of the type described above.
  • Act as liaison with representatives of U.S. Government, state, municipal and commercial customers to execute contacts, coordinate transactions, and facilitate processes and to resolve problems as early as possible and at the lowest possible level.
  • Prepares and coordinates the filing of documentation to release aircraft and engine liens, to reregister and de-register aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration ('FAA') and assign and re-assign aircraft tail numbers with the FAA.
  • Reviews Request for Proposals, and prepares reports or assists business personnel in preparing same.
  • Responsible for working with various business units on customer contract activities to facilitate the sale and delivery of aircraft.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and presents data ensuring its accuracy, presentation as status update and as executive summary.
  • Assists in preparing proposals in response to government and non-government customers for United States and foreign requests.
  • Maintains historical data of all contractual records.
  • Perform duties of Contract Administrator as needed to support workload and vacation/illness.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4+ years knowledge of contract law regulations and processes (common law contract formation) is required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience with producing status reports.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to influence across functions and interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and work management skills required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills required.
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate are required.
  • The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team is required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in contract administration with state, municipal and commercial customers and foreign sales representatives.
  • Familiarity with export compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, ATF & OFAC) is preferred.
