Overview General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider of military weapon systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for a Senior Engineer to join either our Colchester, VT team or Saco, ME team in a hybrid environment. The Sr Engineer is a multidisciplinary position involving some systems work, some manufacturing work, some operations work, and mostly Production Engineering work. Expected duties:
Interpret system requirements on assigned program, and analyze production compliance with those requirements.
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Major Position Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications Required Education: Associates Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required Years of Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in a relevant function Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Completed classwork in the mechanical, materials, thermal, and/or analysis area of interest. Oral and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Problem solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Travel Requirements: Travel international and domestic at or below 25%. Pay Range (USD) $77,140.00 - $143,260.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process. Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
