Pay Range: $71,000 - $81,600 annually

Job Summary

The Procurement Partner will be responsible for managing an assigned group of materials and oversseing the sourcing process, from supplier selection to pricing negotiation. This position will identify and evaluate optimal suppliers based on performance and will analyze supplier performance, identify opportunities for cost recution, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement improvements. This role also requires preparing detailed monthly cost analysis reports and market trend assessments to inform strategic decision-making.

Essential Functions

  • Be responsible for an assigned group of materials
  • Submit RFQ to suppliers
  • Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost
  • Continually evaluate and monitor quotes for the most current pricing and lead times
  • Prepare cost analysis and market trend report to management monthly
  • Monitor price changes on purchase orders vs price in master data
  • Conduct analysis of all purchase order spend
  • Continuous communication with suppliers (supplier information, price, etc.) and generate supplier status reports
  • Review and analyze supplier performance and mitigate major issues/risk.
  • Analyze demand vs supply (short term forecast) and report to management
  • Collect/record/analyze SCM Key Performance Indicator data
  • Collaborate with R&D and related departments for new products
  • Follow through on approval process for new supplier & new product (ISIR)
  • Prepare necessary documents for internal/external audits and meet with auditors
  • Be able to provide training and guidance to junior level SCM employees
  • Responsible for source selection from contract proposal to execution phases (non-critical suppliers)

    Review non-disclosure agreements and supplier agreements (non-critical suppliers)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems caused by the evolving supply chain events and occurrences
  • Ability to independently evaluate, negotiate and prepare cost analysis
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements

  • Supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP
