About the Role

We're seeking a Sales Specialist to support and drive business growth across Western Canada. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise and sales acumen to promote Cytek's innovative portfolio-including instruments, reagents, and services-while building strong customer relationships and ensuring a top-tier client experience.

What You'll Do

Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify, engage, and close new opportunities within academic, clinical research, and biopharma labs

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and consultative selling

  • Grow and nurture relationships with existing customers to uncover new opportunities

Technical Expertise & Support

  • Deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations showcasing the power of Cytek's spectral technology

  • Support customers post-sale with follow-ups, training coordination, and collaboration with service and applications teams

Territory Management

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for your region to maximize growth

  • Track all sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools for pipeline visibility and planning

Collaboration & Industry Representation

  • Partner closely with Field Application Scientists, Engineers, and Marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences

  • Represent Cytek at key industry conferences, trade shows, and regional events-before, during, and after the show

Market Insights & Reporting

  • Stay ahead of trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform strategy

  • Report regularly to management with insights that drive smarter decision-making

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in flow cytometry; capital equipment sales experience is a plus

  • Proven success managing a territory and consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals

  • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts with clarity and confidence

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel 50-75% of the time

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during events and demos

  • Must be able to travel by air, train, and rental car as needed
