Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with business members, translating these connections into new business for the credit union.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer tailored financial solutions and advice to meet the unique needs of each business.
  • Ensure Sound Decision Making: Utilize your knowledge of lending practices to make informed decisions that minimize risk to the credit union.
  • Achieve Team Goals: Collaborate with your team to meet organizational, departmental, and team objectives.

  • Compliance: Ensure the credit union complies with all requirements of BSA, OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP).


Capability Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field.
  • Five years or more of financial institution experience with one year of experience originating loans and understanding of the lending process required; or combination of applicable work experience and education.
  • Professional well developed interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff and members.
  • Work requires ability to work accurately with figures and ability to perform detailed work with an extremely high degree of accuracy.
  • Requires ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of business deposit products.
  • Must have strong relationship management and excellent skills in prospecting and building relationships.
  • Basic proficiency in business and financial analysis and modeling skills, with understanding of financial accounting, income statements, balance sheets, etc., requiring the ability to gather, analyze and prepare reports.
  • Working knowledge of lending practices, policies, procedures, disclosures and terminology related to banking laws, regulatory requirements and legal documents.
  • In-depth mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, dividend, interest, payoff and equity calculations, etc.).
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and intermediate knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of automated financial systems, and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

  • Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and /or carry up to 10 pounds.
