What you will do:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in manufacturing. While this is a first shift role, this position has supervisory responsibility for 2nd shift also, for a total of approximately 20 people. This role ensures that the products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements while also driving continuous improvement initiatives.

How you will do it:

* Supervise and coordinate quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
* Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure adherence to specifications.
* Lead a team of 1st and 2nd shift quality control personnel, providing guidance and training to achieve performance goals.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain standards of work, standardized work processes, quality documentation and reports, including quality metrics and performance indicators.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for quality-related issues.
* Promote a culture of quality and safety within the team and throughout the organization.

What We Look For:
Required:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

* Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

* Experience with SAP and statistical process controls (SPC) tools
