Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Program Coordinator. TheSenior Program Coordinator will report to the Co-directors of Master of Genome Health Analysis (GHA) Program in the Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, to plan, coordinate, and implement administrative aspects of the GHA Program. The Senior Program Coordinator will work closely with the GHA Co-directors to manage: recruitment and admissions; student onboarding and support services; monitoring of student progress; communications using the programs website and social media; event-planning; and expenses and reimbursements. The Senior Program Coordinator will also cultivate and maintain working relationships with program faculty, supporting their teaching efforts through the Brightspace learning management system, and other NYU offices as necessary to ensure smooth program operation and integration into the NYU academic infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: This position carries personal responsibility for (1) administration of all aspects of the GHA Program; (2) cultivating relationships with students, alumni, faculty, and other NYU offices; and (3) management of special initiatives as required. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration or related field. Minimum of four years of progressively responsible related experience including program/project coordination or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multi task and project manage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in graduate school environment. Prior exposure to Slate and Brightspace technological systems. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $37.24 - $46.70 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
