The Department of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention is currently seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to join their team of professionals. Duties include: Participant Recruitment and Scheduling: Contact eligible participants via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing clear information about the study, its purpose, and requirements. Schedule Zoom meetings to obtain informed consent, ensuring participants understand the study's objectives, procedures, and their rights. Maintain a detailed log of participant communications, scheduling, and confirmations. Survey Administration: Share the study survey with participants during the Zoom meeting or through secure channels such as HIPPA compliant texting platform. Assist participants in completing the survey, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the survey content. Ensure the survey is completed accurately and submitted securely to the research database. Sample Collection Coordination: Provide participants with detailed information about nearby laboratory locations where they can provide the required study samples such as blood and urine. Supply participants with instructions and any necessary documentation for their lab visits. Follow up with participants to confirm that the lab visit has been scheduled and completed. Follow-Up and Data Management: Monitor scheduled appointments for sample collection and follow up with participants to confirm attendance and receipt of sample results. Accurately update the REDCap database with survey responses, sample collection status, and lab results. Regularly review and verify data and result entries for consistency and completeness Result Sharing and Communication: Share study results with participants in a clear, respectful, and timely manner. Address any participant questions or concerns related to the results or study procedures. Maintain professional and ethical communication, ensuring participant confidentiality and compliance with research protocols. Job Category

High school diploma with four (4) years of experience or two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience. Work Schedule
