RS Master Craftsperson - WCIMin GAC St. Louis Unique Skills: Previously demonstrated high level of competency in tracking the necessary parts and materials coming from the enterprise or outside vendors to meet the aircraft milestone build dates. Previously demonstrated high level of competency in tracking the necessary parts that will need received, processed and sent out for plating in a timely manner to meet the aircraft milestone build dates. Previously demonstrated high level of competency in tracking the Gulfstream completions inner-department schedules to ensure PSU parts are sent to downstream shops (cabinet, finish, upholstery) and returned in a timely manner to meet the aircraft milestone build dates. Previously demonstrated high level of competency in managing Gulfstream completions aircraft PSU priorities between multiple aircraft at any one given time. Previously demonstrated high level of competency in strong written, email, and verbal communication skills. Previously demonstrated high level of competency in the disassembly of the Gulfstream completions PSU modules, headliners and valances, proper parts identification, disassembly/prep of parts for plating, gapping of panels to be upholstered, installation of all electrical components (including harnesses, switching nodes, e-fuses, speakers, FUI's, table lights, dome lights, gaspers, exit lighting), plot/install of all inserts and Click-bonds, proper adhesive use per application via approved tech data, proper adjustment of parts to meet cosmetic quality standards. Demonstrate the ability to navigate applicable tech data for assigned department. Demonstrate the ability to locate AC documents (Examples: IDDs, WCRs, Specs, etc.) Demonstrate the ability to function at a lead capacity in the sites ERP System (Example: Corridor) Demonstrate the ability to use the Engineering Service Request (ESR) System. Past or current participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of safe work practices, EHS and SMS policies and procedures. Demonstrate a working knowledge of completions schedule and labor allocations. Must function as a lead mentor for OJT training for all activities in assigned department. Demonstrate knowledge of quality requirements and aircraft certification requirements for the assigned department. Demonstrate proficiency in ordering parts/materials along with requirements of pertinent traceability documents. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 10 years extensive experience in production/manufacturing/service center. FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
