Position Details:

The Clinical Science Coordinator will provide scientific, analytical, and operational support for the Director of Clinical Science. You will contribute to work within the Geoffrey and Sarah Gund Learning and Diagnostic Center, which aims to improve research and clinical services for children with learning and mental health challenges. Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in interdisciplinary projects that align with the Center's mission, supporting CMI's broader mission.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Science, this is a full-time, exempt hybrid (in office 4 days per week) position.

You Will:
  • Lead Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and facilitate IRB consent procedures for participants.

  • Lead and help manage clinical science projects through administrative, operational, and scientific contributions.

  • Support to create comprehensive reports, documenting project progress, outcomes, and future directions for stakeholders and leadership.

  • Help with clinical research design, protocol development (e.g., material generation), and regulatory compliance (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov registration)

  • Contribute to scientific and research writing (e.g., literature reviews, grant applications, publications).

  • Facilitate collaborative projects with other CMI departments.

  • Manage databases and ensure quality control to maintain data integrity.

  • Assist with data analysis, including cleaning, organization, preprocessing, and applying statistical and machine learning methods.

  • Other job-related tasks as assigned.

You Have:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, Data Science, or related field required.

  • 5+ years' experience in research operations, coordination, and project management.

  • Knowledge of research methodology and IRB procedures.

  • Experience with data analysis and statistical approaches using Python or R.

  • Knowledge of database management, reference management software, and project management tools.

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
