THE OPPORTUNITY

Art Director

Could this be you?

The Art Director will help create communications that will deliver the client's message in a persuasive manner across all marketing touchpoints. They will be responsible for creating innovative concepts for broadcast, print, social, digital and collateral material. This work will be managed under the direct supervision of a Creative Director. The Art Director will have all the latest, industry-leading resources available, including the use of the most current data and technology to help pinpoint in-market shoppers more efficiently, and to leverage deeper consumer insights for regional relevance and accuracy.

In this role you will...



  • Create communications across a broad spectrum of advertising disciplines (broadcast, print, social, digital).


  • Travel & present creative to select Regional Automotive Dealer Advertising Groups primarily in the Southeast region.


  • Translate strategic direction into powerful advertising communications.


  • Primary assignments include automotive retail marketing for regional Ford Dealer Advertising groups; National retail automotive product & event campaigns.


  • Take creative direction and turn work around quickly to meet deadlines.


  • Collaborate with a copywriter and other team members including the Account team.


  • Work closely with Account and Production personnel as a team member on assigned accounts to produce effective marketing themes, campaigns, etc.


  • Develop ideas based on input from the CD, ACD, client, AE and strategy team research.



You have...



  • 5+ years of experience in an agency or studio setting.


  • A portfolio with engaging work across all advertising disciplines.


  • Strong conceptual, presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to sell ideas effectively.


  • Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and meet deadlines.


  • Knowledge of branding, conceptual development and production, executing concepts.


  • A remarkable command of the English language with solid writing and grammar skills.


  • Ability to communicate your work internally and externally to our clients.


  • Ability to listen and understand client feedback and receive internal critiques.


  • Ability to create and execute ideas in an efficient, organized way.


  • Ability to evaluate what ideas/concepts are valid and those that are not worth pursuing.


  • Strong leadership, communication and team building skills.


  • Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and able to delegate work appropriately.


  • Knowledge of related Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, etc.)


  • Capabilities across all advertising disciplines including digital & social media.


  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.


  • A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all team members.
