Description Our client, a global leader in custom-engineered thermal equipment, is seeking a Direct Hire Material Handler to join their manufacturing team in Western New York. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you'll play a key part in the safe and efficient handling of large, precision-engineered components used in industrial systems worldwide. You'll work alongside a dedicated team that values safety, quality, and continuous innovation. What You'll Do Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 10,000 lbs / 7.5 tons) Receive, inspect, crate, and prepare materials for production and shipping Build custom wooden crates, pallets, and skids using carpentry tools Assist with shipment documentation and logistics coordination Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery Pay Range $21-$32/hr - Based on experience and education Why Join Us? Send your resume to: kruzickia@acarasolutions.com Job Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling or shipping/receiving (preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment) At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, rigging equipment, and using hand/power tools Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with mechanical assembly or carpentry based on technical drawings or documentation At least 1 year of experience packaging, labeling, and documenting inbound and outbound shipments Preferred Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, walking, bending, crawling) Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment Willingness to work overtime as needed Must be open to domestic and international travel, including extended assignments if required Must be able to wear and use required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
