Introduction:

We are seeking a results-driven .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain web and Windows-based applications in a high-security federal environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working across the full software development lifecycle, utilizing modern Microsoft technologies to develop and enhance business-critical systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable code in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Utilize established development tools, best practices, and frameworks, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Design, code, and test new software applications for web and desktop environments

  • Enhance and maintain existing applications by analyzing business needs and implementing improvements

  • Develop and administer databases, including SQL scripting and stored procedures

  • Create and deliver data-driven reports to support decision-making processes

  • Identify and correct software defects to improve system performance and reliability

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into development processes

  • Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation to support system sustainment and knowledge transfer

  • Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional software solutions

Location and Travel Details:

This is an onsite position out of the Washington D.C. Area with travel as needed.

Security Clearance:

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in .NET software development

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with automated testing and DevOps Pipeline integration

  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including secure coding and documentation

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Nice To Have:

  • Experience working in federal government or secure environments

  • Experience with modern DevSecOps tools and Agile development methodologies Including Scrum and Kanban

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Platform or Salesforce Integration

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, MVC frameworks, or cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)

  • Exposure to data visualization tools or enterprise reporting platforms
