How You'll Contribute to the Team:

The Regional Vice President (RVP), Compliance and Quality Control is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of standard operating procedures across the DOD housing portfolio, providing support to the RVPs of Operations, Operations Directors, and Facilities Directors charged with day-to-day execution. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate operational systems, processes, and controls are in place to successfully meet the objectives of the Quality Control program. The ability to support the Community teams to achieve and maintain quality and compliance requirements that are aligned with contractual obligations and partnership and resident expectations is at the forefront of this role.

Primary Responsibilities Include:



  • Champion the Corvias culture, mission, vision, and values, and instill a "Culture of Quality".
  • Lead and develop a compliance program for operations; ensure QC teams complete accurate weekly and monthly reports and that all operations are performed following SOP guidelines.
  • Thoroughly understand full-cycle maintenance, including preventative, predictive, planned, and make ready programs; develop effective quality control processes and oversee efforts related to compliance audits and reviews.
  • Drive operational consistency across the DOD portfolio through the development, implementation, and refinement of standard operating procedures designed to align work with business objectives.
  • Identify program priorities and gaps related to SOPs and work with Property Operations Leadership to define strategies for improving operational efficiencies, standardization, employee adherence and risk mitigation.
  • Identify and analyze metrics, develop KPIs, and generate reports on performance standards that link policies and procedures to operational metrics and business goals.
  • Using in person observations, data and analytics, identify opportunities for process improvements and understand where technology can be leveraged to refine or eliminate non value-add steps; present suggestions to leadership.
  • Develop, implement and oversea the communication and training on current and revised business processes with a focus on driving accountability and standardization across the portfolio. Deliver onsite audit follow-up and training as needed.
  • Monitor annual compliance installation audits to identify portfolio trends and compare against industry trends and benchmarks to identify areas of improvement or potential risk.
  • Organize and manage the Company's electronic storage of active and archived SOPs and oversee document control and approval system and processes.
  • Support projects related to policy and procedure repository, including development of project plans, business requirements, functional specifications, and user acceptance testing scripts.
  • Working interdepartmentally with Risk Management, Property Management Operations, Human Resources and IT to define and implement the standard for quality control across the portfolio.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Role Specific Requirements Include:



  • 7+ years' experience in a management role in conventional or military property management; prefer experience at a regional level or higher.
  • Willingness to support change and work within a continuous improvement environment.
  • Detail and process oriented; proven ability to develop and deploy change management initiatives and standard operating procedures and workflows that increase efficiency and standardize operations.
  • Demonstrable understanding of property management performance metrics with the ability to derive insights from data and measure actual business impact.
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards; ability to recognize the adherence to quality standards of physical assets and to understand the impact of quality issues to the overall project development plan.
  • Demonstrated experience with compliance identification and assessment utilizing data analytics and a quantitative approach.
  • Proven history of leading by example, ensuring both the empowerment and accountability of team members at all levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with other functional areas and problem solve to make strategic decisions.
  • High degree of integrity, tact and ability to be direct and influence others while remaining diplomatic. Ability to sell ideas persuasively and settle differences in a manner that strengthens relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information and ideas with clarity and precision.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Exceptional Benefits for Exceptional Team Members

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $180,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location. This position is eligible for a discretionary target incentive of up to 20% of the base salary
