We are looking for a Professional Services Account Executive to join our Professional Services organization, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Professional Services. In this role, you will work to develop and execute a sales strategy for Professional Services. You will work closely with our Sales teams and customers to share the value of Professional Services and scope projects that address customers' technical and business needs with Infoblox solutions.You will also drive a culture of services-led sales, in which the focus would be to accelerate Infoblox customer product adoption through scoping outcome-based services early in the sales cycle.
You are the ideal candidate if you are driven and dependable, have excellent planning, collaboration, communication, and strategy deployment skills, and have the ability to get things done quickly.
What you'll do:
  • Work across multiple Infoblox organizations and functions, including Sales, Education, and Support, to develop and execute a service-led sales strategy
  • Create a recipe to replace DIY DDI solutions with Infoblox leading with Services
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline with a minimum of 3x-4x customer acquisition goalsat any given time to meet quota targets
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional services (Professional Services, TAM, Education) to existing customers
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to provide a cohesive solution to customers, ensuring the scoped services align with customer needs
  • Work closely with the Professional Services solutions team to create proposals and Statements of Work
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations to understand their business challenges and offer tailored or packaged Infoblox Professional Services offerings
  • Outline the value of Infoblox Professional Services to customers early in the sales cycle
What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of experience working in software companies or in consulting companies selling technology implementation Professional Services.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of selling complex Professional Services (ideally cybersecurity and networking services) to large enterprises, particularly Fortune 500 companies, achieving and exceeding quota targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the networking and cybersecurity landscape, including key concepts, technologies, leading companies, emerging threats,
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to close high-value deals and secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of the company's services.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address client challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client success.
  • Ethical Conduct: Maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Urgency and attention to detail: Demonstrated a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
What success looks like:
After six months, you will:
  • Foster outstanding relationships, trust, and collaboration with the Infoblox Sales teams in the geography or region
  • Engage with the Account teams, and attend early pipeline sales callsto assist in performing discovery
  • Conduct 6-8 customer-facing sales and scoping calls per week
  • Create proposals and statements of work (SOW) using in-house developed templates, negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to close deals that meet customer needs and drive business growth in collaboration with the rest of the Professional Services Solutions team
  • Sell services as per agreed upon targets with your manager
After about a year, you will...
  • Develop a recipe for a services-led sale
  • Achieve annual sales quota as agreed upon with your manager
  • Work with the Professional Services Delivery teams to achieve alignment in preparation for delivery in collaboration with the rest of the Professional Services Solutions team
  • Increase Services bookings in the geography year over year
  • Position outcome-based services in delivery projects to be the majority of projects sold
