Job Posting: Experienced Technician We are seeking an ambitious and responsible technician with a strong passion for fixing things. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience using hand tools and troubleshooting issues, along with 1 year of experience working with electrical systems installation and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: * Practice wiring throughout homes, ensuring efficient runs, and setting up cameras. * Terminate, test, and troubleshoot CAT5/CAT6 cables. * Perform fusion splicing using a fiber optic splicer and mechanical splicing. * Utilize multi-meters, CAT5 testers, and basic hand tools for functionality testing. * Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings. * Convert hardwired systems to wireless, crimping, matching color codes, and running wires. Qualifications: * Over 10 years of experience with hand tools and troubleshooting. * 1 year of experience with electrical systems installation and troubleshooting. * Proficiency in terminating, testing, and troubleshooting CAT5/CAT6 cables. * Experience with fusion and mechanical splicing. * Ability to conduct functionality testing using various testing tools. * Skilled in reading blueprints and electrical drawings. * Strong time management and communication skills. * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, with coursework focused on electrical systems. Locations: * Various locations including Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Washington D.C., Columbia, and Baltimore. Soft Skills: * Excellent time management and communication skills. * Ability to deal effectively with different customers and explain technical details clearly. * Known for asking great questions and providing solutions. * Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
