PES Engineer Intern
What You Will Do:

  • Support the growth of the engineering group's capabilities for production vehicle and new technology development
  • Support the execution of the engineering group's goals and objectives through to successful completion
  • Support inter-team collaborations and knowledge sharing through transparent communications
  • Create and deliver engineering reports and presentations on short and long-term work activities
  • Remain current with new technology and competitive products as a means to drive innovation(s)
  • Provide engineering support for electrified propulsion system-related concerns for both pre-production and post-production issues
  • Perform engineering activities related to:

    • Development or identification of new technologies, strategies, and methods for improving the fuel economy and performance of current and future Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis production hybrid and battery electric vehicles
    • Test and evaluation of various electrified propulsion system components such as electric machines, and power electronics
    • Feasibility analysis of new electrified system technologies through on-road evaluations and data collection
    • Creating and organizing standard engineering documents for efficient work processes
