Sigma Defense is currently seeking a Senior Logistics & Warehouse Manager to deliver vital Life Cycle Logistics and Subject Matter Expert (SME) capabilities to support the Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Transport (C2ISR-T) Infrastructure mission. This role requires a HAZMAT-certified professional to oversee the logistics and warehousing of sensitive and classified materials, ensuring strict adherence to DoD regulations, C2ISR-T directives, and security protocols. The successful candidate will manage the safe and secure handling, storage, and transportation of materials, maintain precise inventory records, and lead logistics operations to meet mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to comply with all DoD-implemented safety procedures and use job-related equipment safely.
  • Skill in using small hand tools for logistics-related tasks.
  • Demonstrated research and analysis skills with the ability to read, interpret, and draw conclusions from data.
  • HAZMAT certification with demonstrated ability to handle and ship sensitive and classified materials in compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • 10+ years of experience as a logistics or engineering professional working with telecommunications/information technology infrastructure and components, preferably in a DoD environment.
  • Extensive experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or similar DoD inventory management systems (highly desired).
  • Proven expertise in maintaining detailed inventories, preparing and reviewing logistics documentation, and tracking parts and materials through the lifecycle of a project/program.
  • Experience integrating logistics planning initiatives into supportable programming documentation and developing plans to field and sustain equipment.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant documentation.
  • Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license.
  • CompTIA Sec+ is required.
  • CCNA is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field of study is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Implement and maintain the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to manage inventory, conduct periodic warehouse audits, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide expert supply chain management for AISR-T Infrastructure systems, including conducting supply chain, supply support, and equipment support analyses, developing logistics support recommendations, and determining requirements for acquiring, distributing, repairing, and replenishing inventory.
  • Oversee Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) requirements to ensure compliance with HAZMAT regulations and DoD security protocols for the acquisition, receipt, storage, consolidation, transfer, shipment, issuance, and disposal of sensitive and classified materials, equipment, spare parts, repair parts, and consumable items.
  • Manage the shipping and issuance of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring precise tracking between locations, timely delivery to job sites, and adherence to schedules.
  • Research, assess, and determine the cause of supply discrepancies, providing actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain the logistics and inventory management database of record.
  • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites to perform logistics management functions as required.
  • Evaluate and determine appropriate packaging levels and storage requirements based on design specifications, environmental conditions, shelf life, safety precautions, and security requirements for sensitive and classified materials.
  • Analyze system and equipment reliability, maintainability, and availability characteristics of AISR-T systems and subsystems to assess materiel condition and project availability.
  • Produce acquisition logistics documentation to support the C2ISR-T and Program Manager(s).
  • Correspond and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, providing logistics expertise and preparing correspondence, memorandums, white papers, briefings, reports, records of meetings/minutes, and other written, oral, or graphic presentations.
  • Ensure all hazardous materials are handled, stored, and transported in accordance with HAZMAT regulations and DoD security requirements, maintaining proper documentation and certifications.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HAZMAT and security protocols.
  • Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing training and mentorship on logistics procedures, safety protocols, and security measures.

Salary Range: $90,000- $110,000 annually.
