Summary:

In this role, you will be a lead strategic sourcing resource, dedicated to delivering best in class contracting strategies and expertise that result in supply chain cost reductions. You will accomplish this by contributing to all aspects of supply chain strategic sourcing processes including opportunity identification, strategy building, contract development, negotiations, communications, documentation, and implementation. You will develop a customer-specific contract strategy to reduce spending and craft savings solutions, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value and ultimately achieve a higher level of client satisfaction by becoming a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for new and existing agreements, from drafting and redlining to execution and renewal.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders-including IT and clinical teams-to draft or revise contract language for complex needs such as software, licensing, and hardware.

• Lead negotiations on client-specific terms and conditions, balancing customization with the achievement of best pricing.

• Work closely with the Service Line Director to plan negotiation strategies and ensure stakeholder requirements are accurately captured in contract documents.

• Use financial analysis and market trends to develop and refine contract strategies that drive savings and improve existing agreements.

• Communicate sourcing outcomes, strategic opportunities, and challenges to leadership and hospital partners.

• Monitor contract performance, maintain pricing accuracy, and make adjustments as needed to align with organizational goals.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to support long-term strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree is a plus.

• 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain operations-preferably within a healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex vendor negotiations and manage high-value contracts effectively.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis and evaluate both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making.

• Paralegal experience is a plus, offering valuable support in contract review, drafting/redlining, and legal compliance.

• Willingness to travel.
